I just returned from a very last minute and too-brief trip to an international conference on the Sarus Crane in Saifai, India. Here are a couple of photos from the adventure. A traditional and well known dance troupe performed for delegates of the conference on the first night. Our final day was spent on a whirlwind tour of Delhi, and I will sort and share photos in the days and weeks ahead.

Hi Darcy – How exciting for you to get there at all! And I just looked up the location on google maps – see that Agra is between Saifai and Delhi – did you also get to go to the Taj Mahal, by chance??
Anyway, we still both look forward to talking to you soon – and now with even MORE interesting things to hear from you!!
Love and Namaste,
Barbara
Hi Barbara,
Sadly, we did not have the time or ability to go to the Taj Mahal. In fact, there were 6,000 ticket holders turned away one of the days we were in Saifai! It seems that it is happening with more frequency. Apparently, we were visiting during a popular vacation time for Indians. I also had to return for a big meeting at work that is happening early this week, so will have to visit another time. But our short time in Delhi was wonderful. Looking forward to talking very soon! Love to you and Fletcher.
