Thought I would post a little something for those of you who have been impacted by the Polar Vortex and accompanying snow this winter.

Late summer 2013 brought a trip to Door County. First, a workshop at Peninsula Art School followed by a few days of R&R. Newport State Park was on the itinerary. These were taken with my favorite photo app – Photosynth.

Ferry Bluff, Mazomanie, panoramic photo, Wisconsin River

We took a walk along the Wisconsin River today – temps were in the 40s and the skies were mostly clear. More panoramic photos, this time of Ferry Bluff, patterns in the sand, ice, and the scenery in general. We saw a couple of Bald Eagles, lots of Canada Geese and several gulls, unfortunately too far away to photograph.
